On July 31, 2025, the Agency for Cultural Affairs announced the results of the comprehensive evaluation and continuation review of the "Japan Heritage" for the fiscal year 2025.

The site "Villages depicted in Tabihikitsuke and two paintings - Landscape of Hinenosho, a manor in medieval Japan - " which was designated as a Japan Heritage site in the fiscal year 2019, has undergone a continuation review by the Japan Heritage Examination and Evaluation Committee following the completion of six years since its initial approval.

As a result, it has been decided that the designation will be continued. We hereby notify you of this decision.
