Japan Heritage Day Event "Japan Heritage Marche" to be Held in Kyoto!

 The Agency for Cultural Affairs and the Japan Heritage Alliance have designated February 13th as "Japan Heritage Day" since 2020 to deepen understanding and interest in "Japan Heritage" and further enhance regional initiatives. Every year, a commemorative event is held to celebrate this day.
 This year marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of Japan Heritage. In Kyoto City, where the headquarters of the Agency for Cultural Affairs is located, the "Japan Heritage 10th Anniversary Celebration" and "Japan Heritage Marche" will be held over two days, from February 15th (Saturday) to February 16th (Sunday), 2025.
 The Japan Heritage Hinenosho Promotion Council (Secretariat: Izumisano City Cultural Properties Protection Division) will also participate in this event, introducing the Japan Heritage site "Villages depicted in Tabihikitsuke and two paintings - Landscape of Hinenosho, a manor in medieval Japan"

 Venue: Ohigashisan Hiroba Square(Tokiwacho, Shimogyo Ward, Kyoto)

 Date and Time:February 15th (Saturday) to February 16th (Sunday), 2025, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily

 Based on the above participation, this event is also expected to be lively and successful.

    • Access by Train:
    • Approximately 10 minutes on foot from "Kyoto Station"
    • From the north exit of Kyoto Station, head north on Karasuma Street and cross Shichijo Street to arrive.
  • Access by Bus:
  • Approximately 3 minutes on foot from the "Shichijo Karasuma" bus stop
  • Head north on Karasuma Street, in front of Higashi Honganji Temple is Ohigashisan Hiroba Square.
